Saturday, November 29, 2003 Richard Boyt posts a paper on Wood Pyrolysis showing three of more than 20 designs he explored in the 1970s. Dean Still announces two upcoming conferences: ETHOS 2004 Jan 31-Feb 1 and Design Performance Guidelines Workshop Feb 2-3, 2004 in Seattle, Washington. The latter is in cooperation with the Partnership for Clean Indoor Air. David has assembled a great compendium of current work on stoves, including CEDESOL's experience with retained heat or fireless cookers and solar cookers. Christa Roth shows us how a food warmer or fireless cooker is made in Malawi from an old basket and banana leaves.
