David Whitfield, CEDESOL, La Paz, provides us with the presentation on Ecological Stoves that he made to the Global Village Energy Partnership in Latin America meeting July 2003 in Bolivia. David has assembled a great compendium of current work on stoves, including CEDESOL's experience with retained heat or fireless cookers and solar cookers.

Christa Roth shows us how a food warmer or fireless cooker is made in Malawi from an old basket and banana leaves.

Paul Anderson and his student Brandy Wilken have compiled a Bibliography on Hayboxes and fireless cookers that we have compiled into a Haybox, Haybag, retained heat cooker page and pdf document.
